Our boat is finally ready!!! We have 1 1/2 months left for scallop season!!!
I took a trial run today and every stop I made there were scallops to be had. The seas were calm, and the sun shining...water crystal clear!
If you have never been scalloping or even tasted our little bay scallops you have got to do this. It is so much fun, like doing an Easter egg hunt.
I wish I took a camera out with me today, I could show you so much fun. I saw little puffer fish, star fish, cute little sponges, and some things I have never seen before.
You just need to come experience this for yourself.
My favorite way to eat these little guys: (No they are not sea scallops)
Sautee in butter, some garlic, white wine...make sure not to over season or over cook. All it takes is about 30 seconds...seriously... enjoyed alone or over a bed of pasta.
