I just found a great resource for teachers, group leaders and parents who are bringing people to swim with manatee in Crystal River.  Or swimming with manatee in Homosassa River, for that matter.

US Fish & Wildlife has a website set up for educators, parents, and their kids.  The URL is: http://www.fws.gov/educators/educators.html and it has some great info for anyone interested in manatee behavior.

Actually, this site does have some interesting stuff for just about everyone.  Check it out.  I'm sure you'll agree that this is a good resource to add to your arsenal of teaching aids.
