Bird's Underwater is located on
Kings Bay in the
beautiful city of Crystal River, Florida. Crystal River is on
the West coast of Florida, near the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 60
miles North of Tampa on Highway 19.

From Tampa International Airport:
(Tampa - St Petersburg)
Take Highway 589 North. Highway 589 ends at Highway
98. Turn left onto Highway 98 North and drive approximately
6 miles to Highway 19. Turn right onto Highway 19 North.
Proceed North for approximately 13 miles. Bird's
Underwater is on the left side of the road, just past
Charlie's Fish House. Look for our illuminated sign.
[Drive Time: Approximately 1.5 hours]
From Orlando:
Take Florida's Turnpike North to the end. It runs into
Interstate 75. Go North on Interstate 75, but do not
get out of the slow lane. You will be getting off at
the next exit (Highway 44 West). Take Highway 44 West
to Highway 19 North. Turn right onto Highway 19 North
and go 1/2 mile. Bird's Underwater is on the
left side of the road, just past Charlie's Fish House.
Look for our illuminated sign.
[Drive Time: Approximately 2 hours]
From Interstate 75:
If you are coming from Northern Florida (Jacksonville,
etc.), take Interstate 75 South to Highway 44 West.
Take Highway 44 West to Crystal River. When you come
to Highway 19 North, turn right. Go North on Highway
19 for 1/2 mile. Bird's Underwater is on the
left side of the road, just past Charlie's Fish House.
Look for our illuminated sign.
If you are coming from Southern Florida (Fort Myers,
etc.), take Interstate 75 North to Highway 98 North (Brooksville
exit). Go North on Highway 98 for approximately 25 miles
to Highway 19. Turn right onto Highway 19 North.
Proceed North on Highway 19 for approximately 13 miles to
Crystal River. Bird's Underwater is on the left
side of the road, just past Charlie's Fish House. Look
for our illuminated sign.

From the North, down Highway 19:
If you are coming from the North (Tallahassee, etc.), go
South on Highway 19 until you come to Crystal River.
Bird's Underwater will be on your right hand side,
less than 1/10th mile South of the Best Western Hotel and
Cracker's Bar & Grill. Look for our illuminated
sign. [Drive Time: Approximately 3.5 hours]

There are several places to eat in the Crystal River area
(including your favorite fast food restaurants), but if you would

Bar & Grill. They have excellent food, great service and
beautiful dining areas. You can eat in their open and airy
indoor dining room or on their
deck overlooking Kings Bay. Any visit to Crystal River is
incomplete without at least one visit to the most popular eatery in
